Thidaa Roberts is an Architect, Interior Designer, and Ceramicist originally from Houston, Texas, now based in London.
She currently operates her own freelance design and consultancy studio, ROKAI, where she works on a diverse range of interior design, brand strategy, and project management projects.
Thidaa is passionate about infusing beauty and confidence into all aspects of life, from hotel and hospitality spaces to inspiring work environments. Her design approach emphasizes comfort, accessibility, and a welcoming atmosphere in every project. With many years of experience in architecture and design, she has successfully led and managed numerous projects for various design studios.
Her interest in the arts and performing arts began at an early age in Houston. At three years old, she started ballet at the Houston Academy of Dance and later joined the Metropolitan Dance Company at age 11.
After relocating to the UK in 2002 from New York and Texas, Thidaa pursued her architectural studies at the Oxford School of Architecture in Oxford, England. She then completed her diploma at London Metropolitan University, where she developed a strong interest in digital design and innovative materials.
Thidaa is a hardworking, highly motivated, and reliable Architect, Designer, and Manager, known for her excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. She thrives on complex briefs and design challenges, consistently approaching them with a positive, "can-do" attitude. Always open to collaborations, Thidaa welcomes new opportunities.
She is a qualified Architect (ARB) and a member of the RIBA.
I previously work as the Associate Director at Studio RHE and is also the founder of Blue Guy Pottery based in East London.
